The following prayers, which I referred to in my recent post “Pray,” were ordered by His Holiness Pope Leo XIII to be recited kneeling after mass. They were said after mass when I was young (pre-Vatican II).
Prayers to be said:
Hail Mary (3 times)
Hail Holy Queen
Let us Pray: O God, our refuge and our strength, look down with favor on your people who cry to thee and through the intercession of the Glorious and Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of St. Joseph, her spouse, of your holy apostles Peter and Paul and all the saints, mercifully and graciously hear the prayers which we pour forth to thee for the conversion of sinners and the freedom and exaltation of Holy Mother Church, through Christ our Lord. AMEN
Prayer to St. Michael
(St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, etc.)
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us (3 times)
(my addition) O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee
